1980, Nord Pas-de-Calais.
Freshly arrived from England, the punk wave creeps into France, even reaching the rural areas near Lille. Philippe, a Gavroche of his generation, embraces this new genre to lead his revolution. To escape discrimination, young Camel also known as Claude, finds solace in this new community with no ethnic code. Jo, raised with respect for bourgeois traditions, chooses chaos, driven by the excitement of completely rejecting her heritage... Their political and artistic demands materialize at Michel's place, a solitary and dreamy young man who owns a rundown bar turned punk club.
Very soon, local clans, skinheads and black jackets alike, confront the punks. The carefreeness of Philippe and his gang, as well as the management of Michel's bar, lead to criminal excesses that jeopardize the integrity of their movement.
